Abstract:
Rule Description - 36 CFR 1208.170 lays out compliance procedures under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as required by the Department of Justice and the U.S. Access Board. NARA’s regulation predates current amendments to the Rehabilitation Act. NARA proposes to revise this regulation to ensure that it is consistent with the current amendments to the Rehabilitation Act. EO 14219 Justification - Regulation predates current amendments to the Rehabilitation Act, which is the authorizing statute. An update to the regulations is required.
