Abstract: NCUA proposed to amend its rules to fully insure the net amount that any member or depositor in an NCUSIF-insured credit union maintains in a non-interest bearing transaction account. This amendment is prospectively repealed effective January 1, 2013, pursuant to the Dodd-Frank Act.
