Abstract:

The NCUA Board issued an advanced notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPRM) to gather information from stakeholders on the utility and practicality of supplemental capital in the risk-based capital context.  The ANPRM followed a public briefing of the NCUA Board on the same topic and covers a wide range of topics including legal issues.  The NCUA is considering the public comments received and moving toward a proposed rule.
