| Title: Technical Amendments to Program Regulations To Reflect Domestic Indemnity Authorization | |
| Abstract: On December 26, 2007, through section 426 of The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2008, Public Law 110-161, the Arts and Artifacts Indemnity Act was amended in part to expand coverage of the Arts and Artifacts Indemnity program to up to $ 5,000,000,000 at any one time for domestic exhibitions. (20 U.S.C. section 974(b)). The Federal Council proposes to make technical amendments to the Regulations to reflect this authorization of a Domestic Indemnity Program. | |
