Title: ●Definitions for Appraiser Regulation
Abstract:

The Appraisal Subcommittee of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council is restructuring its appraiser regulations found at 12 CFR 1102 by consolidating defined terms into a centralized definitions section. This reorganization would streamline the appraiser regulations by enhancing clarity and consistency, ensuring uniform interpretation, and simplifying future referencing. These revisions would update or remove obsolete definitions. These revisions would reduce the word count to enhance clarity and decrease the overall number of definitions used in 12 CFR part 1102.
