Title: ●Appraisal Subcommittee's Rules of Practice for Proceedings
Abstract:

The Appraisal Subcommittee of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council is revising its rules of practice for proceedings to lessen administrative burdens, eliminate unnecessary paperwork, and streamline the efficiency and effectiveness of the agency’s practices, thereby ensuring fairness and impartiality in its proceedings. To reduce the costs of compliance, these revisions would allow for electronic submissions and eliminate burdensome requirements such as specific paper size requirements. The revisions would also correct or remove obsolete information. Lastly, the revisions would reduce the word count to enhance clarity and decrease the overall number of rules in subpart B of 12 CFR part 1102 by consolidating or rescinding the 20 individual rules as appropriate.
