| Title: Appraisal Subcommittee's Appraisal Management Company Registry Fee Rule | |
|
Abstract:
The Appraisal Subcommittee of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council is developing a proposal that would clarify the calculation of the national registry fee for appraisal management companies that have not been in operation for over a year as set forth in 12 U.S.C. 3338(a)(4)(B)(ii). This clarification is intended to ease the regulatory burden on State Appraiser Regulatory Agencies by simplifying the process for fee collection and transmission during initial registration and the first renewal of appraisal management companies that have not been in operation for more than a year. |
