| Title: ●Streamlining Process for Certificate of Self-Regulation | |
|
Abstract:
The National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) seeks to streamline the process whereby tribes apply and potentially receive a certificate of self-regulation, which permits more tribal regulation and less NIGC oversight. Restructuring the current process benefits both tribes and the NIGC, because it will require less tribal and NIGC resources to process a certificate. |
