| Abstract: Pursuant to the Antarctic Conservation Act of 1978, The National Science Foundation (NSF) is amending its regulations to reflect newly designated Antarctic Specially Protected Areas (ASPA), Antarctic Specially Managed Areas (ASMA) and Historical Sites or Monuments (HSM). These additions reflect measures already adopted by the Antarctic Treaty Parties at Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meetings (ATCM). Finally, the regulation is being revised to correct some typographical and numbering errors. | |
