| Title: ●Initial Operator License Examination Requirements | |
| Abstract: The proposed rule would amend the Commission's regulations to require that licensees prepare, conduct, and grade the licensing examinations that are given to reactor operators and Senior reactor operators. Although the regulations do not specify who will be responsible for these examinations, the current practice has been for the NRC or its contractors to prepare and conduct these examinations. The NRC conducted a pilot program in which it has had licensees prepare these examinations. The results of the pilot program have indicated that licensees can prepare and administer these examinations satisfactorily. | |
