Title: Physical Protection of Radioactive Materials [NRC-2015-0094] 
Abstract:

This rulemaking would amend the NRC's regulations to clarify the scope of the rule, address requirements for unescorted access, notification of legal actions, coordination with law enforcement at temporary sites, specify time periods for advance license verifications and require the development of implementing procedures associated with the shipment of radioactive materials. The updates would enhance the regulatory effectiveness and reasonable assurance of the security of Category 1 and 2 quantities of radioactive materials during storage and use.
