Abstract:
This rulemaking would amend the NRC’s regulations that govern the duration of the design certifications in 10 CFR part 52 to replace the current 15-year duration for design certifications with a 40-year duration period. The 40-year duration would apply to design certifications currently in effect as well as future design certification applications, including renewals. |
