Title: ●Procedures for Periodic Review of Bureau Regulations
Abstract:

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is considering a rule that would require periodic reviews of CFPB regulations. The CFPB would review its regulations to ensure alignment with current market dynamics, technological developments, and other aspects of the evolution of the financial products and services markets. This approach would effectuate the objectives of the law and ensure regulations imposing unwarranted burdens are regularly identified and addressed while facilitating access to and innovation in markets for consumer financial products and services.
