Title: ●Critical Position Pay Authority 
Abstract:

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is proposing to provide additional authority to the OPM Director in administering the Critical Position Pay program by revising the regulations at 5 CFR 535 to remove references to the President’s approval for critical pay rates above EX-I to align with the delegation specified in EO 13415. Approval authority for rates above EX-I would rest with the OPM Director as was delegated by that Executive order, in consultation with the Director of OMB as required by 5 U.S.C. 5377.
