Abstract:

The Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) proposes to amend its regulations to comply with the requirements of the FOIA Improvement Act of 2016 (Pub. L. No 114-185) and also to make certain corrections. The proposed amendment includes procedures for engaging in dispute resolution through the FOIA Public Liaison and the Office of Government Information Services; determining when fees for FOIA requests should be waived or reduced, explaining how requestors may seek fee waivers and request expedited processing.
