Title: ●Small Business Size Regulations: Government Contracting Programs 
Abstract: SBA intends to propose interim final rules implementing procurement guidelines resulting from Public Law 108-183 the "Veteran Benefit Act of 2003." Section 308 of the Act redesignated section 36 of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 631 et seq.) "Procurement Program for Small Business Concerns Owned and Controlled by Service-Disabled Veterans." Under this new program, Federal contracting officials have the discretionary authority to award sole source contracts limited to contracts of up to $5 million for manufacturing and $3 million for non-manufacturing to small business concerns owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans.
