Title: Surety Bond Program Changes; Disaster and Miscellaneous Amendments  
Abstract: This proposed rule would implement the Food, Conservation and Energy Act of 2008 changes to the Surety Bond Guarantee Program. The proposed rule would allow SBA to issue bond guarantees on contracts up to $5 million and up to $10 million if the scope of the contract relates to a disaster area. These changes would improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Surety Bond Guarantee Program, and broaden its reach to more businesses seeking bond guarantees.
