Title: WOSB Program Updates and Clarifications 
Abstract:

The Small Business Administration is proposing to revise its final rule published on May 11, 2020. The final rule implemented certification for the WOSB Program and made several other changes, including adjusting the personal net worth calculations for economically-disadvantaged individuals, codifying third-party certifier oversight, and detailing how women-owned 8(a) Business Development Program participants and women-owned Center for Verification and Eligibility (now Veteran Small Business Certification) participants could apply for WOSB Program certification. This proposed rule will update the regulations to reflect changes in SBA policy, as well as feedback from stakeholders, since the final rule was published in 2020.
