Title: ●Nondiscrimination in Federally Assisted Programs of SBA-Effectuation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964
Abstract:

In response to Executive Order 14219, SBA has completed a page-by-page, line-by-line review of all of its existing regulations to determine which might be revised or eliminated. This Notice of Proposed Rulemaking would amend SBA’s regulations governing nondiscrimination in its federally assisted programs. This action is necessary to eliminate unnecessary provisions, remove language inconsistent with statutory authority, and streamline compliance procedures. This rule would reduce regulatory burden and provide clarity for recipients of financial assistance.
