Title: ●Nondiscrimination in Financial Assistance Programs of SBA-Effectuation of Policies of Federal Government and SBA Administrator, Subpart B
Abstract:

In response to Executive Order 14219, SBA has completed a page-by-page, line-by-line review of all of its existing regulations to determine which might be revised or eliminated. This Notice of Proposed Rulemaking would amend SBA’s regulations governing nondiscrimination on the basis of sex in federally assisted education programs. This proposed rule would eliminate or revise provisions that are outdated, redundant of the underlying statute, or unnecessary. This action is necessary to streamline the regulations, reduce regulatory burden and complexity for recipients, and align the agency's rules more closely with the underlying statutory authority. The rule would simplify compliance for recipients of Federal financial assistance by providing a clearer and more concise regulatory framework.
