Abstract:
In response to Executive Order 14219, SBA has completed a page-by-page, line-by-line review of all of its existing regulations to determine which might be revised or eliminated. This Notice of Proposed Rulemaking would amend SBA’s regulations regarding its management and organization, including its central and field organization. This action is necessary to eliminate unnecessary provisions, remove language inconsistent with statutory authority, and streamline compliance procedures. The rule would reduce regulatory burden and provide clarity for recipients of financial assistance. |
