Title: ●Revisions to the Accidental Release Reporting Rule
Abstract:

This rulemaking will consider revisions to the Accidental Release Reporting Rule (40 CFR Part 1604).  The CSB promulgated the Accidental Release Reporting Rule (ARRR) four years ago to implement 42 U.S.C. 7412(r)(6)(C)(iii).  The agency has evaluated the effectiveness of reporting requirements and reporting methods.  The proposed revisions would address some definitions to provide clarification or to reduce public burden.  Revisions would also address reporting requirements including timeframes, methods to report, and types of property damage.
