Abstract:

The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (Board), together with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) expect to invite public comment on a notice of proposed rulemaking (proposal) that would revise the capital requirements applicable to banking organizations to modernize the risk-based capital framework applicable to most U.S. banking organizations and make various other improvements.
