Title: FAR Case 96-023, Clause Flowdown-Commercial Items 
Abstract: This rule proposes amendments to the clause at FAR 52.244-6, Subcontracts for Commercial Items and Commercial Comments, to clarify that contractors are required to include, in subcontracts at any tier for commercial items or commercial components, the FAR clauses and provisions listed in the clause at FAR 52.244-6 and such other clauses and provisions as may be required by addenda, to the extent they are applicable or necessary to establish the reasonableness of prices under FAR part 15. This regulatory action was not subject to Office of Management and Budget review under Executive Order 12866, dated September 30, 1993, and is not a major rule under 5 U.S.C. 804.
