Title: FAR Case 2008-009, Prohibition on Contracting With Inverted Domestic Corporations 
Abstract: DoD, GSA, and NASA will adopt as final, with changes, the interim rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to implement section 743 of Division D of the Omnibus Appropriations Act, 2009 (Pub. L. 111-8). Section 743 of Division D of this Act prohibits the award of contracts using appropriated funds to any foreign incorporated entity that is treated as an inverted domestic corporation or to any subsidiary of one. For Fiscal Year 2010, the same restrictions were continued under section 740 of Division C of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2010 (Pub. L. 111-117).
