Title: FAR Case 2008-032, Preventing Abuse of Interagency Contracts 
Abstract: DoD, GSA, and NASA amended the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to implement paragraphs (b) and (d) of section 865, Preventing Abuse of Interagency Contracts, of the Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2009 (Pub. L. 110-417). This rule improves the management of interagency acquisition by providing procedures for agencies use in maximizing competition delivering best value and minimizing fraud, waste and abuse. The public comments from the interim rule are being resolved by the FAR Acquisition Strategy team.
