Title: FAR Case 2011-008, Consolidation of Contract Requirements 
Abstract: This rule implements section 1313 of the Small Business Jobs and Credit Act of 2010 (Pub. L. 11-240). Section 1313 defines "consolidation of contract requirements," adds limitations on agencies use of acquisition strategies that involve consolidation, and requires a determination by a senior procurement executive or CAO that consolidation is necessary and justified. This rule FAR Case 2011-008 is being withdrawn so that the FAR can be consistent with SBA regulations. FAR changes will be made after SBA issues its regulations.
