Abstract:

DoD, GSA, and NASA are proposing to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation to clarify the guidance for sole-source 8(a) contract awards exceeding $20 million, in response to Government Accounting Office Report to the Chairman, Subcommittee on Contracting Oversight, Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, U.S. Senate, entitled Federal Contracting: Slow Start to Implementation of Justifications for 8(a) Sole-Source Contracts (GAO-13-118 dated December 2012).
