Abstract:

DoD, GSA, and NASA are proposing to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to increase the TINA threshold to $2 million and require other than certified cost or pricing data. The rule reduces burden in that contractors would not be required to certify their cost or pricing data between $750,000 and $2 million. This change will implement section 811 of the NDAA for FY 2018. Section 811 modifies 10 U.S.C. 2306a and 41 U.S.C. 3502.
