Title: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR); FAR Case 2024-002, Prohibition on Unmanned Aircraft Systems from Covered Foreign Entities 
Abstract:

This rule prohibits agencies from procuring unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), or products or services in connection with the operation thereof, for systems manufactured or assembled by a covered foreign entity, unless an exemption, exception, or waiver applies. This rule is issued pursuant to subtitle B (American Security Drone Act of 2023), Title XVIII, of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024. The FAR Council received public comments on the interim rule published in November 2024, which are being considered in development of the final rule.
