Title: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR); FAR Case 2024-001, Inflation Adjustment of Acquisition-Related Thresholds 
Abstract:

This rule will assess statutory acquisition-related thresholds for inflation using the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for all urban consumers, except for the Construction Wage Rate Requirements statute (Davis-Bacon Act), Service Contract Labor Standards statute, and trade agreements thresholds. The Office of Federal Procurement Policy statute requires an adjustment of statutory acquisition-related thresholds every five years (i.e., October 1 of each year evenly divisible by five). As a matter of policy, the FAR Council is also using the same methodology to adjust nonstatutory FAR acquisition-related thresholds. The FAR Council received public comments on the proposed rule published in November 2024, which are being considered in development of the final rule.
