Title: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR); FAR Case 2024-007, Protests of Orders Under Certain Multiple Award Contracts 
Abstract:

The FAR Council is withdrawing FAR case 2024-007 because Executive Order (E.O.) 14148, Initial Rescission of Harmful Executive Orders, revoked E.O. 14091, Further Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government. E.O. 14091 directed agencies to take steps to increase contracting opportunities for small disadvantaged business concerns. This rule would have clarified protest rights with regards to the decision to set aside or not set aside an order for small business under certain indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity multiple award contracts. This rule was intended to support implementation of FAR case 2023-011, which has been withdrawn. Accordingly, this rule is withdrawn and the FAR case is closed.
