Title: Fishery Management Plan for the Queen Conch Fishery of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands 
Abstract: This new Fishery Management Plan for the Queen Conch Fishery of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands restricts the taking of queen conch in or from the Exclusive Economic Zone around Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands in order to restore over fished stocks. Approved measures include: (1) requirement that Caribbean conch resources be landed in the shell; (2) minimum commercial fishery size limit for queen conch; (3) recreational fishery daily bag limit; (4) daily harvest limits for the commercial fishery; (5) seasonal closure to protect spawning conch; and (6) gear restrictions.
