Title: New Eligibility Criteria for the Montgomery GI Bill--Active Duty, Other Miscellaneous Issues | |
Abstract: This action will implement various provisions of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1997 and the Veterans Benefits Improvement Act of 1996. It will set forth new eligibility criteria that will allow additional individuals to establish eligibility for educational assistance under the Montgomery GI Bill--Active Duty; make permanent certain provisions concerning the approval of courses leading to alternative teacher certification; and make other modifications for the purpose of clarification. | |
