Abstract: PWBA is undertaking a review of the temporary bonding rules under section 412 of ERISA (29 CFR Part 2580) in accordance with the requirements of section 610 of the Regulatory Flexibility Act. The review will cover the continued need for the rules; the nature of complaints or comments received from the public concerning the rules; the complexity of the rules; the extent to which the rules overlap, duplicate or conflict with other federal rules and, to the extent feasible, with State and local rules; and the degree to which technology, economic conditions, or other factors have changed in industries affected by the rules. To facilitate review, PWBA invites interested persons to submit written comments on these matters. | |
