Title: ●Lower Deck Service Compartments on Transport Category Airplanes
Abstract: This proposal proposes to require that two-way voice communication systems between lower deck service compartments and the flight deck remain available following loss of the normal electrical power generating system. Adopting this proposal would eliminate regulatory differences between the airworthiness standards of the U.S. and the Joint Aviation Requirements of Europe without affecting current industry design practices.
