Title: ●Glen Canyon National Recreation Area--Off-Road Vehicle Use
Abstract: Our 2009 interim rule allows for managed snowmobile and snowcoach use through the 2010-2011 winter season. We are preparing a new long-term winter-use plan and environmental impact statement (EIS). This proposed rule will contain the preferred alternative in the draft EIS. Without a new rule, oversnow vehicles would not be allowed in Yellowstone beginning in the 2011-2012 season.
