Title: ●DoD Workplace Violence Prevention and Response 
Abstract: This part establishes DoD policy and assigns responsibilities regarding workplace violence prevention and response in accordance with the authority in DoD Directive 5124.02 and pursuant to Secretary of Defense Memorandum, "Final Recommendations of the Ft. Hood Follow-on Review," August 18, 2010. All employees are responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, including providing protection from individuals outside the DoD perpetrating violence against DoD employees. Violent behavior shall be addressed immediately, and those who engage in such behavior may be immediately removed from the premises, denied re-entry pending completion of the appropriate investigation, and may be subject to removal from the Federal service, criminal prosecution, or both.
