Title: Appeal Proceedings Before the Commission
Abstract: The National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC), after consultation with Indian tribes, published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking proposing to revise the regulations that govern appeals of the Chair's actions with regard to ordinances, management contracts, notices of violations, civil fine assessments, and closure orders. The regulation became effective on October 25, 2012.
