Title: Public Information; Communications With Federal Agencies, State and Foreign Government Officials, and International Organizations 
Abstract: FSIS is proposing regulations permitting the sharing of non-public safety, effectiveness, quality, or investigatory information concerning FSIS regulated products with Federal agencies, State and foreign government officials, and certain international organizations without compelling the public disclosure of such information. These disclosures would, in almost all instances, occur only with the consent of the person providing the confidential information to the Agency. These changes are intended to further the Agency's public health protection mission through improved sharing of information with Federal agencies, State and foreign government officials, and international organizations.
