Title: FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Amendments to Reportable Food Registry (RFR Requirements) 
Abstract: FDA is seeking to develop and publish a list of acceptable conspicuous locations and manners of posting notification of reportable foods for consumers in chain grocery stores. FDA may require responsible parties submitting reportable food reports to include consumer-oriented information regarding a reportable food to FDA.

Overall Description of Deadline: Within 12 months of enactment of FSMA, FDA shall develop and publish a list of acceptable conspicuous locations and manners of posting notification of reportable foods for consumers in chain grocery stores (21 U.S.C. 350f(h)(2)). Within 18 months of enactment of FSMA, FDA may require responsible parties submitting reportable food reports must include consumer-oriented information regarding a reportable food to FDA (21 U.S.C. 350f(f)).
