Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Critical Habitat Designation for the Vandenberg Monkeyflower
Abstract: FWS will, if determined to be prudent and determinable, designate critical habitat for the Vandenberg monkeyflower (Mimulus fremontii var. vandenbergensis), an endangered species. Pursuant to the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended, the FWS is required to designate critical habitat, to the maximum extent prudent and determinable, concurrent with a listing determination for a species. The species is believed to be endemic to western Santa Barbara County, California.
