Title: Registration of Certain Nonbank Covered Persons 
Abstract: The CFPB anticipates proposing a rule under sections 1022(c)(7) and 1024(b)(7) of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act that would require certain nonbank covered persons to register with the CFPB. The information collected through registration could be used by the CFPB to, among other things, create a directory of registrants and to facilitate application of the larger participant rule.
