Title: Revisions to the Export Administration Regulations: Control of Firearms and Related Articles the President Determines No Longer Warrant Control Under the United States Munitions List 
Abstract:

This rule describes how articles the President determines no longer warrant control under Category I (Firearms, Close Assault Weapons, and Combat Shotguns) of the United States Munitions List would be controlled under the Commerce Control List in new Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs) 0A601, 0B601, 0D601, and 0E601. In addition, this rule makes certain changes to ECCNs 0A984, 0A986, 0A987, and 2B018. This rule also addresses license exception availability for items controlled by the five new ECCNs that would be created and for the ECCNs that would be changed.
