Title: ●Real Power Balancing Control Performance Reliability Standard | |
Abstract:
The Commission proposed to approve Reliability Standard BAL-001-2 (Real Power Balancing Control Performance) and proposed new definitions submitted by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC). The proposed Reliability Standard is designed to ensure that applicable entities maintain system frequency within narrow bounds around a scheduled value. In addition, the Commission proposed that NERC submit an informational filing that would address the impact of the proposed Reliability Standard on inadvertent interchange and unscheduled power flows (Docket No. RM14-10-000). |
