Abstract:
The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) is intending to update the Trade Fair Certification Program, which recognizes and endorses U.S. participation in selected, privately organized, foreign trade fairs, in the coming months. Proposed changes will be announced through the Federal Register and comments will be solicited and reviewed before a final notice is issued. This advanced notice: 1) solicits feedback on some of the concepts Commerce is considering for the update; and 2) reiterates the requirements, procedures, and application review criteria of the current Trade Fair Certification Program, originally set out in 58 FR 26116 of April 30, 1993. |
