Title: Rapid Tire Deflation Test in FMVSS No. 110 (RRR)
Abstract:

This rulemaking would clarify the rapid tire deflation test included in FMVSS No. 110, Tire Selection and Rims for Motor Vehicles. After a recent review of the standard by the agency, we have tentatively concluded that the rapid tire deflation test is unclear as currently stated with respect to testing of towed vehicles. NHTSA now plans to withdraw this proposed rule.
