Title: Updating Regulations Issued Under Various Wage and Hour Division Statutes Consistent With Rosa's Law | |
Abstract:
This proposed rule intends to carry out the spirit of Rosa's Law (Pub. L. 112-256) by removing all references to "mental retardation" and "mentally retarded individual" and replacing them with "intellectual disability" and "individual with an intellectual disability" in all programs administered by the Wage and Hour Division (WHD). The WHD is withdrawing this entry from the agenda at this time due to agency priorities. |
