Title: Certification of Safety Auditors, Safety Investigators, and Safety Inspectors | |
Abstract:
This rulemaking would require that any safety inspection, safety audit, or compliance review be conducted by a certified inspector, auditor, or investigator. It is required by section 211 of the Motor Carrier Safety Improvement Act. Based on comments to the Interim Final Rule (IFR), the agency will issue a Final Rule that addresses issues not clarified in the IFR. |
