Title: FMVSS No. 119, New Pneumatic Tires for Motor Vehicles With a GVWR of More Than 4536 kg (MAP-21) 
Abstract: This rulemaking would upgrade FMVSS No. 119 by increasing the stringency of the endurance test, adding a new high speed test, and requiring that the tire sidewall be labeled with the tire's maximum speed rating for tires used on vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of over 4,536 kilograms (10,000 pounds). This rulemaking would be responsive to requirements of the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century (MAP-21) Act.
